The Acute Coronary Syndrome RealCME interactive online CME activities are centered on the management of 2 virtual patients, each with 2 visits, to provide physicians and other healthcare providers with clinically relevant, practical and engaging educational experiences on UA/NSTEMI and STEMI scenarios and an opportunity to earn CME credit. Each visit simulates a patient visit in a private practice setting, where the virtual patient follows a standard format that mirrors the assessment, decision-making opportunities (triage/prioritization, diagnostic and therapeutic options) and teachable moments that are inherent in day-to-day clinical practice.

The Acute Coronary Syndrome Webcast Series comprises 3 interactive, free CME presentations on ACS for physicians and other healthcare professionals. James A. de Lemos, MD, will discuss risk stratification in patients with ACS, develop a treatment plan, and describe how risk stratification affects the choice of therapy; Jessica L. Mega, MD, MPH, reviews mechanisms for variable response to antiplatelet therapies and how to overcome resistance, including dose adjustments and use of other agents; and Gregg W. Stone, MD, highlights recent clinical experience and trial data for new and emerging antiplatelet therapies and how they can apply to your practice.
